Carl Emerson Farrow, age 88, went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2021. Carl was born to the late Benjamin F. and Linnie (Crace) Farrow on June 12, 1932, in Ironton Ohio. Carl married Marilyn (Aurand) Farrow on November 18, 1950, who survives. He is preceded in death by parents, son Larry Farrow; daughter Jan Cox; grandson Craig Taylor-Farrow; 2 brothers and 2 sisters; and son-in-law Tim Staiger.
In addition to his wife Carl is survived by children David (Jody) Farrow, Pam Moyer, and Sandra Staiger; grandchildren, Shannie (Scott) Palmer, Timothy Moyer, Ashley (Nick) Pirnstill, Ryan Philips, Katie Farrow-Wolfgang, Miranda (Shane) Christian; great-grandchildren, Drake Moyer, Carson, and Lindsey Palmer, and Ethan Emerson Pirnstill; as well as son-in-laws Tim Moyer and Gary Cox.
Carl was a graduate of Holmes Liberty in 1950. He worked for over 40 years at PPG of Crestline and another 25 years at Sears. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, taking day trips with family. Carl was the family hero and an excellent dad and grandpa. He was proud of his yard work and was an elder at the Conservative Baptist Church.
The family will be receiving friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm with services at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow services at Oceola Cemetery.
