Billy Wayne Simmons, age 61, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at his home in Upper Sandusky.

Billy was born on November 2, 1959, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to Billy Joe Simmons and Lottie Elizabeth (Burton) Bucher, both of whom are deceased.  He married Debra Myers on September 8, 1982, and she survives.

He is survived by his children; Heather (Julio Cordova) Caldwell of Forest, Kristy (Waylon James) Simmons of Nevada, Billy Joe (Nakiesha) Simmons of Upper Sandusky, Thomas Simmons of Upper Sandusky, and Robert Simmons of Upper Sandusky. 13 grandchildren; Eliana Velasquez, Pete Caldwell, Alicia Santos, Adeline Cordova, Stryker James, Opey James, Jude James, Billy Joe Simmons, Jr., Christopher Vaughn, Alexis Vaughn, Kyleigh Simmons Emery Simmons, and a baby granddaughter on the way.

Billy is also survived by a sister, Anita Simmons of Bucyrus, along with a nephew Eric Simmons of Nevada, and great-nephew Kasen

Also survived by a niece, Jo (Gerald) Israel,  and 4 great-nieces and nephews Kendra (Jimmy) Lanker, Tyler Furniss, Sierra Newmeyer, Matthew Israel, along with their children  MiKayla Fox and Tristyn Parsons

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Eddie and Daniel Simmons, and a sister, Julia Justice. Also two nephews Mark Justice and Thomas Dye

Billy enjoyed playing the lottery and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Services for Billy Wayne Simmons will be private.
