Billy “Pops” Riddle, 57, of Galion passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born July 20, 1963, in Galion and was the son of Charles D. and Shirley (Miller) Riddle who survive in Galion.
Billy graduated from Galion High School in 1982 and worked as a mechanic for the former Angelini Pontiac in Galion and Sharpnack in Willard. He enjoyed fishing, camping, swimming, and in his later years, teaching numerous young people how to work on their cars.
In addition to his parents, Billy is survived by his wife, Holly (Davis) Riddle of Galion; seven children, Billy Joe Riddle, II, Tiffany (Seth) Reed of Marion, Jacob Riddle, Josephine (Dominic) Adams, Nasya S. Riddle, Eden A. Riddle, and Mason D. Riddle all of Galion; 24 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, James D. (Donna) Riddle of Galion; former wife, Susan (Williams) Riddle of Marion; close friend, Mellissa Tesso of Crestline and his dog, Smokie.
He was preceded in death by a son, Christian Jade Riddle, and a grandson, Cadden Riddle.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where a memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 6 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Mahon officiating.
