Billie Jo Zimmerman age 76 of Forest died Sept. 3, 2021, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born Jan. 14, 1945, in Wayland, KY to the late Allen & Lizzie (Hall) Slone. She married Warren “Zeke” Zimmerman on Apr. 3, 1965, and he passed on Jan. 19, 2021.
Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by a son Don Zimmerman, Forest, two daughters Julie (Gale Musselman) Zimmerman, MI, Cathy (Todd) Jones, Findlay, three grandchildren Derek Zimmerman, Morgan Fissell, Nathan Fissell, two step-grandchildren Logan & Conner, one step great-granddaughter Reese, and a sister Slone “Gertie” (Tony) Ursino, CA. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Billie Jo graduated from Riverdale High School with the class of 1963. She was a homemaker and attended the Wharton First Church of God. She enjoyed listening and dancing to music, camping, and spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Fri. Sept. 10, 2021, in Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor David Odegard, officiating. Interment will follow in Hueston Cemetery, Forest. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Thurs Sept. 9, 2021, at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wharton Church of God–Youth Ministries, or Mount Mission School in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson Forest, OH 43351.
