Beverly J. Smith, 84, of Galion passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Altercare of Bucyrus.
Born May 16, 1939 in Galion, she was the daughter of Robert and Rosella (Fulkerson) Spears. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Rolland E. Smith whom she married on June 2, 1957 in Fremont, Ohio.
She was a 1957 graduate of Galion High School and was a homemaker. Beverly was a member of Galion Grace Brethren Church and loved to sing and work jig-saw puzzles.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter Melissa Gardner of Crestline; sons, Jeffery (Brenda) Smith, Douglas (Tracy) Smith and Timothy Smith all of Crestline; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a great great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tamara Ghent and two sisters, Carol Cross and Mary Heal.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, November 14 with Rev. Jeff Pennington officiating. Interment will be at Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline.
