Beverly Ann Witter, 90, of Galion passed into the Lord’s presence Friday, December 30, 2022 at Signature HealthCARE in Galion after a short illness.

Born July 21, 1932 in Galion, she was the daughter of Ivan and Mary (Flick) Cass.  She married John “Jack” Witter on November 1, 1952 and he preceded her in death on May 25, 1996.

Beverly graduated from Galion High School in 1950. She was a very creative person and a free-lance artist for many years. Beverly along with her husband, Jack owned and operated Witters Linden House from 1974 to 1996. She also worked at the Flower Cart in Galion. Beverly and Jack traveled many times to Williamsburg, Virginia.

Beverly is survived by a daughter, Kim Witter of Galion; daughter-in-law, Pam Witter of Polk, Ohio; two grandchildren, David Witter and Melissa (Vic) Barnett; sister, Judy (Bob) Karnes of Galion and two brothers-in-law, Larry Witter of San Francisco, California and Jim Witter of Santa Barbara, California.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Christopher Witter and a brother, Jim Cass.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6th with Father Paul Fahrbach officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritans Purse or the Humane Society serving Crawford County in care of the funeral home.
