Betty L. Rhinehart, 81, of Leesville passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Galion Avita Hospital.
Born June 28, 1941 in Crestline, she was the daughter of Carl and Harriett Davis. She married William Patrick and he preceded her and she then married William R. “Bill” Rhinehart and he preceded her.
She worked for the former Crestline Nursing Home and worked 30 years at Crestline Hospital. Betty was a Pioneer Woman Enthusiast and loved to bake cookies and cook large meals for the family. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and at least once a week outings with her sisters. Betty loved all animals, feeding birds and especially her dog “Buster” who recently passed away. She loved being with her children and her grandchildren were the world to her.
She is survived by children John (Shelly) Patrick of Crestline, Loretta (Don) Hobbs of Michigan, Rick (Linda) Rhinehart of Leesville and Kelly (Jason) Wilson of Florida; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, sisters Ruth Johnston of Crestline and Chicky Tinch of Galion; brothers Carl Davis, Jr. of Mansfield and Robert Davis of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by daughter Debra Lawson; sisters Laura Davis and Helen Reimsnyder and her beloved dog Buster.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 3:00 p.m. April 13 with Rev. Allan Bevere officiating.
