Betty J. Hedges, 72, of Galion passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Galion Pointe.
Born February 15, 1945 in Galion, she was the daughter of Earl and Dorothy (Hall) Brown. She married Charles R. Hedges on October 4, 1969 and he survives.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1964 and attended Grace Point in Galion for the last four years. Betty previously attended the Miracle Meetings Church in Galion. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, sun bathing and especially making people laugh.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son Eric (Jennifer) Hedges of Galion; daughter Lisa (Carl) Ginter of Galion; grandchildren Alexis, Ashley, Mitchell, Mason, Matthew, Breanna, Carson and Andrew; great-grandchildren Jamee, Donahvin, Ava, Jaxon, Cameron, Marlee and Carter; brother Bob Brown of Galion and sisters Novella (Gary) Hobson of Bowling Green, Susie Chapman of Galion and Shirley (Roger) Fissel of Galion.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother Casto Brown.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11 am. Thursday, October 5, 2017 with Pastor Dave Mahon officiating.
