Barbara K. Norwood, 77, of rural Crestline passed away Thursday January 27, 2022 after an extended illness.
Born March 2, 1944 in Cheshire, Ohio, she was the daughter of Merrill J. and Marjorie M. (Davis) Grover She married Daniel A. Norwood on March 28, 1964 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2015.
She was a graduate of Galion High School. Barb was an LPN and worked at Galion Community Hospital and retired in 2000 from Rosewood Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed candy making and doing arts and crafts. She was generous and caring and her grandchildren were very important to her.
Barb is survived by a daughter, Dawn (Brian) Landsberger of Crestline; a son, Dale Norwood of Galion; 4 grandchildren Daniel, Deanna, Electra and Serena Norwood and her brother David Grover of Dayton.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Toni Norwood; two brothers Eugene and George Grover and her sister, Joan Franks.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday January 31, 2022 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday February 1, 2022 with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford County Memory Gardens.
