Arnold Reynolds, longtime Galion resident, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 in Galion Pointe. He was 92. Born July 17, 1931 in Carter County, Kentucky to parents George and Ellie Reynolds, Arnold served two years with the U.S. Air Force.

Arnold retired from Peabody where he worked many years as a welder. Previously he had worked with Marion Power Shovel. He was a member of American Legion Scarbrough Post #243, AMVETS Post #1979, and the former Army Navy Garrison Post #987, and he enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by sons Arnie “Gale” Reynolds and Harley “Dee” Reynolds both of Galion; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother Paul (Marie) Reynolds of Olive Hill, Kentucky and sisters Francis May and Lucille Walker both of Olive Hill, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his wife Clara (Porter) Reynolds in 2015. Also deceased are a son Greg Reynolds; an infant son Randall Reynolds; brothers Arlie isters Christine Bond, Maxine Conn, Edith Meade, Goldie Reynolds and Catheline Reynolds.

The Reynolds family will receive guests Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home Richardson Davis Chapel, 218 South Market Street, Galion. His funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
