Alveta “Al” Riffe, 80, of Mansfield, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the home of her sister in Galion.
Born August 22, 1941, in Richlands, Va., she was the daughter of Clifford and Edith (Tripplett) Justice. She married Joe Riffe on June 6, 1985, and he survives.
She was a member of Sar Shalom in Ontario and enjoyed camping, cooking, her church, and spending time reading. She formerly owned and operated along with her husband, V & M Restaurant in Bellville. She was interested in health food and homeopathic healing and was a health food minister and taught healthy cooking and owned Genesis Garden in Mansfield.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two children, Duncan (Terry) Jones of Canyon, Texas and Tonya (Eddie Gill) Hale of Loudonville and daughter-in-law, Chris Jones of Galion; Joe’s two children, Renee (Whitey Flockerzie) Russell of Shelby and Shawn (Bobbie) Riffe of Mansfield; 15 grandchildren, Shannon Mogan, Jennifer Rucker, Nicole Rasi, Eric Jones, Jacob Jones, Treva Valentine, Cassie Hale, Justin Stacy, Jordan Beaver, Joe Sanchez, Tommy Antle, Kaylee Riffe, Denver Russell, Chris Russell, and Charles Riffe; 21 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Lacey Clifford “Bud” (Jane) Justice, Athens, Tenn. and Jim (Sherry) Justice of Galion and a sister, Anita Luscaleet of Galion.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2021, at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where a graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Galion with Rabbi William Hallbrook officiating.
