Albert J. “Jim” Friley III, 52, Bucyrus, died Friday, July 27, 2018 at his home after a long illness.

Jim was born in Columbus, on February 14, 1966 to Albert J. Friley, Jr. and the late Shirley (Deweese) Callahan.  He married Robyn L. Poffenbaugh on July 21, 1984 and she preceded him in death on February 9, 2009.

Jim was a semi-truck driver for Pepsi.  He was “Rotten” and was always trying to make someone laugh.  Jim was a Dallas Cowboy’s fan, and also an OSU fan.  He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycles.  Jim loved life, his children, grandchildren and his family.

Jim is survived by his children; Josh (Shelly) Friley, Crestline, Jimmy (fiancé Johnna Rigney) Friley IV, Ontario, Danielle (fiancé David Eberhardt) Friley, Crestline, his father; Albert J. Friley, Jr., Kountz, TX, his brothers and sisters; Henry (Theresa) Friley, Johnstown, Candace Straughter, Galion, Charlotte (Michael) Quick, Marion, Quintina (Allan) Ferrell, Mansfield, Sheldon Friley, Kountz, TX, Carla Auck, Bucyrus, Rebecca O’Neil, Shelby and many grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Gore.

Friends may call Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main Street, Crestline.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, Crestline, with Deacon William Horning officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.

The family would like to invite those with motor cycles to ride those in the precession to the cemetery.
