Adrian E. “Gene” Justice, 86, of Galion passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 unexpectedly at home.
He was born August 19, 1936 in Hunter, Kentucky and was the son of George and Rhoda (Keens) Justice. Gene married Shirley J. (Price) Justice on April 24, 1959 and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage until her passing on September 25, 2014.
He retired in 2009 after working over 20 years at Lifetouch in Galion. Gene enjoyed being outside, nature and loved when his family would stop by to visit him.
He is survived by three sons, Morgan “Ed” (Becky Kincaid) Minamyer of Galion, Doug (Kathy) Justice of Galion and Mike (Leslie) Justice of Mt. Gilead; six grandchildren, Kyle Justice, Brad (Jamie Houserman) Justice, Cassandra (Brian) Harvey, Jimmy Minamyer, Kristy Minamyer and Melissa Minamyer; nine great-grandchildren and a sister, Freda Stephens of Shiloh.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27th with Rev. Roger Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
