Whether it was a case of the right place or the right time, Zeus Tire wasted no time in moving into the former auto repair shop on West Mansfield Street.
Friends Hank Williams and Zach Brooker own the tire shop. Williams, who also has Zeus Tire locations in Marion and Delaware, found out that there was a need in Bucyrus for a tire shop.
With the interest stirred Williams contacted Brooker, who worked at Whirlpool at the time.
“I said, hey you tired of your job? He said yeah so I said let’s do something different,” Williams said. “We’ll open one in Bucyrus. It was kind of one of those things in right place, right time.”
Zeus Tire offers new and used tires of all brands. Williams said they would usually have a one day turnaround on ordering tires.
The hours of operation for the Bucyrus location are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. To schedule an appointment call 419-617-7037 or message Zeus Tire on Facebook.
