Young Professionals, Chamber teaming up for Mitten Tree

The Crawford County Young Professionals will be collecting cold weather gear for the holiday season.

The Crawford County Young Professionals will be collecting cold weather gear for the holiday season.

Donations of new hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens, which will be given to area children, will decorate the mitten tree sponsored by the Young Professionals and Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce. The items can be dropped off at the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce, 122 W. Rensselaer St., Bucyrus, beginning Nov. 21 through Dec. 5.

The Young Professionals will also be holding an Ugly Sweater Bowling Bash beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 at Victory Lanes in Galion. Bowlers should bring a new scarf, hat, or pair of gloves to donate for the Mitten Tree. The cost of the Ugly Sweater Bowling Bash is $6 per person, which includes shoes and two hours of bowling.
