Crawford County Young Agricultural Professionals will present “Play It Farm Safe,” taking place at Sycamore Run Farms, 6348 Parks Rd, Sycamore, Ohio, on Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This rural safety event for kids and families will feature grain bin extractions demonstrations, safety stations on ATVs, PTOs, livestock, wildlife, fire, and first aid, as well as a health and wellness screening stations and hearing check stations. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office will also be on hand to offer fingerprint and DNA kits.
Crawford County Young Agricultural Professionals is proud to bring Play it Farm Safe to Sycamore Run Farms for the first time. In addition to the health and safety stations, guests are welcome to enjoy the petting zoo, nature trail, corn maze and much more.
Admission is free. Lunch will be available from the Crawford County Cattlemen’s Association. The first 100 children and 100 adults will receive free gifts. Door prize drawings will occur throughout the day.
