Before the Wynford school board makes a final decision on a new leader for that district, the Wynford community will have an opportunity to have a say in the matter.

Wynford Superintendent Steve Mohr 1Although the Board of Education has started the process of replacing current Superintendent Steve Mohr, the board wants to hear from the community and will hold a public meeting Monday evening from 6 to 7. That meeting will be held in the high school auditorium. Mohr has announced his retirement which will be effective Dec. 31.

Following the public meeting the school board will meet in regular session beginning at 7:30 in the high school library. That regular session will be followed by an executive session to consider the employment of a public employee or official.

Among the items of note on the agenda for the regular session are the approval of teachers and bus drivers for the 21st Century before and after school program.
