Wynford school board to review next year’s calendar

The Wynford Local School District Board of Education will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 16 in the high school library.

The Wynford Local School District Board of Education will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 16 in the high school library.

The public is invited for comments and discussion on the 2015-2016 school calendar. In addition to the school calendar, the board is also expected to review approval for a number of supplemental contracts. The resignations of Billy Banta as head cross country coach, Hillary Horsley as a student aide and nurse, and Julie Miller as the assistant varsity cheerleading advisor are expected.

The board will review a $6,250 donation from the Wynford Elementary Parent Teacher Organization for the purchase of Google ChromeBooks as well as various other operational items.

The regular session will be followed by an executive session to consider matters required to be kept confidential by federal law or regulations or state statutes.
