Two area farmers donated grant monies to the Wynford School District.

Wyandot County farmer Nicole Pelter and Crawford County farmer Krystal Meister have each directed a $2,500 donation to programs within the school district. Funded by America’s Farmers Grow Communities, the donations will help fund a foundation endowment and the purchase of an FFA livestock trailer. Pelter directed her donation to the Wynford Education Foundation, and Meister to the Wynford High School FFA. The Wynford Education Foundation will establish a permanent endowment, while the Wynford High School FFA will use its donation for building new livestock trailers for use at the county fair.

Through America’s Farmers Grow Communities, farmers have been able to support a variety of groups, such as schools, fire departments, community centers and youth organizations like 4-H and FFA.
