NEWS RELEASE:
The following Wynford Junior High Students have met the criteria of 3.5 GPA or better during the 4th quarter of the 2016-17 school year which determines the 2017 Fall Scholar Athletes. The following athletes have earned the distinction of being recognized as a scholar athlete. Our student athletes put in an incredible amount of time in the classroom and truly represent the Wynford Community of being a scholar 1st and proudly represented our community in the athletic arena. We are proud of their accomplishments and our motto is: “EVERY CHILD, EVERY DAY, EVERY DREAM IS OUR PASSION!”
The scholar athletes are:
Volleyball: Trisha Butterfield, Madison Coffman, Madalyn Johnson, Miya Kinn, Carmen Leuthold, Abbigail Long, Averi McMillan, Mayci Morgan, Emma Nedolast, Karalynn Postell, Serenity Shope, Claudia Stone, Madalyn Sykes, Adrienne Whitmeyer, Lexie Wood and Makenna Zaebst.
Cross Country: Allie Algyre, Owen Fruth, Brianna Hensel and Allison Lust.
Football: Blake Beckley, Kolten Bils, Carson Caskey, Jaron Filliator, Zach Harer, Daniel Kurek, Enrique Roblero and Chaase Schoonover.
Cheerleading: Hannah Feldman and Alexis Lucius.
