BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Addams Family Musical features an original story by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice with Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa based on the characters created by Charles Addams in his single-panel gag cartoons. The story tells the tale of every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he has never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
The cast features Aaron Rabun as Gomez Addams, Brooklyn Stauffer as Morticia Addams, Addison Sebring as Wednesday Addams, Ryan Wise as Uncle Fester, Natalie Adams as Grandma, Shelby Richards as Pugsley Addams, and Wyatt Tomlin as Lurch. The cast also features Brock Saam as Lucas Beineke, Marlie Hosey as Alice Beineke, and Jamison Crall as Mal Beineke. The show is presented in the Wynford Auditorium at Wynford High School in Bucyrus, Ohio. Show dates are March 13th and 14th at 7:30 PM and March 15th at 2:30 PM. Doors open a half an hour before performances. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from the high school office starting March 9th, with remaining tickets available at the door. A special recognition of the 2020 cast whose performances were cancelled due to COVID closings will occur on the 14th.
