BUCYRUS — A Wynford Local Schools employee in the district’s high school and junior high building currently is being investigated after a complaint from a coworker was made to administration.

According to Wynford Superintendent Fred Fox, an employee was placed on paid leave while a third-party group investigates the situation.

“We want everyone to know that this does not involve a student and it is not a criminal situation,” Fox said.

Fox said, because the matter is not criminal, the police are not involved in the investigation.

Due to the investigation being ongoing, Fox said he could not release the names or positions of the individuals involved.

He said more information would be released after the investigation concludes, which Fox said could be soon.
