Nine ladies from St. John’s United Church of Christ along with several other ladies were recently honored at a luncheon at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
These ladies, along with women from other UCC churches, volunteer their time once a month at the Fairhaven Community. This group of volunteers is the “Fairhaven Volunteers”.
The ladies from St. John’s that were honored are: Phyllis Diederich (55 years of service), Ruth Adams (30 years of service), Mary Louise Diebler (10 years of service), Delores Kocher (one year of service), Aurelia Brombacher, Pauline Eichelberger, Carol Beck, Naomi Clady and Joan Dunn.
A patio table, chairs and umbrella were given to Fairhaven for the residents use in honor of Phyllis Diederich’s 55 years of service. Diederich was also presented with a potted flowering plant.
