Courtney McRoberts got herself out of jail by admitting she took something into jail she shouldn’t.
The 23-year-old Crestline woman pleaded guilty Thursday in Crawford County Common Pleas Court to the third-degree felony charge of illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility. McRoberts was being held at the county jail pending trial but was released when she was placed on community control for three years by Judge Russell Wiseman.
McRoberts must also undergo a drug and alcohol assessment plus any recommended follow-up treatment. McRoberts was also fined $750.
A felony 5 possession of drugs charge against McRoberts was dismissed as a result of her plea arrangement.
