Susan Wilson was basically told Thursday to go directly to jail without passing go and without collecting $200. Except Wilson is going to prison for 30 months and was fined $5,000.
Wilson pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree felony drug trafficking. As part of her plea arrangement with the county prosecutor, Wilson was also unsuccessfully terminated from community control. Wilson was on community control following a 2011 conviction for drug possession and tampering with evidence.
Wilson was also ordered to forfeit drug-related items and more than $1,100 seized by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office. Wilson has additional charges pending in Wyandot County.
Judge Russell Wiseman denied Wilson’s request for a short furlough to get her personal affairs in order, noting Wilson’s latest violations of the law came while she was out of jail on bond.
Three people pleaded guilty and were placed on community control and ordered into drug treatment programs Thursday during Common Pleas Court proceedings.
Ashley Sipe and Kevin Stewart were both placed on community control for three years, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment program and follow up with any recommended treatment. Both are candidates for the county’s Medically Assisted Treatment program.
Sipe pleaded guilty to fifth-degree felony burglary and Stewart admitted to felony drug possession.
Donald Ray had earlier pleaded guilty during arraignment to possession of drugs. Ray was sentenced Thursday to three years of community control and will be held until admitted to the CROSSWAEH program.
Ashley Singer pleaded guilty to a bill of information. The charge against Singer is possession of drugs. Singer was placed into the intervention in lieu of conviction program. Singer was released from jail until she can be placed into an in-patient treatment program.
Morgan James Minamyer also had his request for the intervention program approved. Minameyer pleaded guilty to a charge of forgery. As part of his intervention, Minamyer will have to repay the victim $1,190.
Five people had initial hearings on charges they violated terms of their community control. All five cases were continued with bond set and attorneys appointed for each defendant. Charged with community control violations were William Dean, Zachary Marshall, Jason Utz, Michael Hickman and Donna Stall.
