Troopers from the Bucyrus Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol are investigating a one-vehicle rollover crash that occurred Thursday morning on Ohio 98, south of Bucyrus.
According to the patrol, Michiko Thompson, 42, Bucyrus, was driving southbound on Ohio 98 when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer, causing her vehicle to go off the west side of the road, near Shearer Road. Her vehicle then rolled several times.
The woman was taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital by Life Support Team EMS.
The crash remains under investigation. The woman’s name and other details are being withheld by the patrol until the crash report is complete.
