A second drug bust within seven months at a Wiley Street home in Bucyrus resulted in two more arrests and seizure of prescription medication on Tuesday.
Thirty-year-old Glen V. Ramsey and 64-year-old Charlie W. Ramsey are currently awaiting formal charges in the Crawford County Justice Center. A search warrant at the same home, 119 Wiley St., was executed last August. Charlie Ramsey pleaded guilty last week to drug possession charges and was placed on three years of community control at that time.
The Bucyrus Police Department was assisted by the METRICH Enforcement Unit, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Galion Police Department when the agencies executed a search warrant at 119 Wiley St. in Bucyrus. Officers seized a wide variety of prescription medication along with drug abuse instruments that had been involved in opiate abuse.
The Bucyrus Police Department also arrested five other people on unrelated charges Monday. Those arrests included 23-year-old Joshua Holycross (right of way outside of crosswalk), 21-year-old Jessica Donaldson (theft); 35-year-old Joshua Blankenship (Crawford and Seneca county warrants); 20-old Tyler R. Steele (Crawford County warrant); and 20-old Jared Fishpaw (disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia).
The Adult Parole Authority arrested Michael Weaver of Galion Monday afternoon for probation violation. He is being held for court.
