Bucyrus police had a busy weekend making eight arrests between Friday and Sunday.
Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with Bucyrus Police Department arrested Wesley S. Efaw, 22, of Bucyrus at 2:48 Sunday morning under the investigation of theft and receiving stolen property. Gage C. Ruth of Nevada was also arrested in a collaborative effort at 12:45 in the afternoon Sunday on the same charge. Both Efaw, and Ruth are being held at Crawford County Justice Center until their date with the judge.
Weston L. Ferris, 33, of Bucyrus was arrested at 2:01 am Sunday near 400 S. East St. on active warrants out of Crawford, Richland and Delaware Counties. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.
Timothy A. Woods, 39, of Bucyrus was cited in the 900 block of E. Mansfield St. near S. Highland Ave., for OVI and driving under suspension at 2:11 am Saturday. He was released to a sober friend pending a court appearance.
Nancy May, 26, of Bucyrus was arrested at 9:49 PM Friday for shoplifting at Kroger, 210 E. Mary St. She was issued with a date to appear in court and released.
Thomas C. Wells of Bucyrus was arrested at 6:15 Friday morning at his residence and charged with domestic violence. He was taken to Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.
Nick McIntyre, 20, of Bucyrus, was arrested at 2:54 am Saturday near Washington Square on a pick up order out of Adult Probation. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.
Paul Villavicencio, 28, of Bucyrus, was arrested at 314 E. Mansfield St., on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.
Joshua L. Byrum was arrested at 3:04 AM Sunday by the OSP for failure to pay child support and failure to report to jail. Byrum was reported to serve a sentence of 60 days at JVC.
