BUCYRUS—A warrant was issued for a Tiffin man Wednesday in Crawford County Common Pleas Court after he failed to appear for a sentencing hearing.
Brandon Mabry, 45, was a no-show for a sentencing hearing. Mabry pleaded guilty to one count of domestic violence, a felony of the fourth degree punishable with up to 18 months in prison in February of 2018. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended. He was placed on five years of community control.
According to probation officer Eric Bohach, Mabry tested positive for meth on July 12th. He denied the charge, and therefore Bohach had the test confirmed by a lab. Sentencing was scheduled for Wednesday. Bohach told the court his department had issued a warrant when Mabry failed to appear for office visits after July 12th.
Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold ordered a bond revocation hearing to be held upon Mabry’s capture.
