BUCYRUS—Brian Lookabaugh, 54, of Galion, failed to appear in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday for a final hearing on a community control violation.

Lookabaugh was sentenced to 24 months in prison in May of 2020 after he pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison, one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest.
Lookabaugh was granted judicial release in July of 2020 and placed on community control. He recently allegedly violated the terms and conditions of his community control and posted a $20,000.00 bond after he was arrested.

Lookabaugh was to appear in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Monday morning for a final hearing on the allegations.

Lookabaugh‘s attorney Neil Huggins told the court his client knew of the proceedings but was not present in court.

Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold issued a warrant for Lookabaugh and ordered him held in jail until his court appearance.
