MARION—Julia Warner, 55, currently housed at the Ohio Reformatory for Women, is seeking an early release after serving a little more than six months of her two-year prison term.

The Warner’s were convicted of complicity by leaving the scene of an accident, and each sentenced to two years in prison following an auto accident that left a Marion man badly injured. Warner’s husband Jason ( a former Marion County Judge) remains in prison.

According to a motion filed in support of her early release, her attorney cited that she had completed the 180 days of incarceration required before she could file for early release. Her attorney notes that her prison record has been exemplary and that she has had no infractions.

If granted release, Warner will remain on supervision and community control.

Crawford County Now will continue to cover this developing story.
