BUCYRUS — Two defendants indicted as a result of a recent drug bust on Wallace Avenue in Bucyrus were arraigned in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Monday via video from the Crawford County Justice Center.

Johnathon Bagley, 30, of Columbus was indicted by the Crawford County Grand Jury on one count possession of drugs. Bagley was found in possession of more than 200 grams of meth, a first-degree felony punishable with up to 11 years in prison. Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold set Bagley’s bond at $1,000,000 and appointed attorney Joel Spitzer to represent Bagley.

Detrell Bennett, 30, of Columbus was arraigned on one count of possession of heroin. Bennett was found in possession of 200 bindles (single doses) of heroin. The possession charge is a second-degree felony punishable with up to eight years in prison. Leuthold appointed Geoff Stoll to represent Bennett and bond was set at $250,000.

In other court action, Lon Chaney, 41, of Mt. Gilead was indicted on one count of possession of drugs, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison. Leuthold set bond in the amount of $75,000. Attorney Andrew Motter was appointed to represent Chaney.
