Patrol OVI Checkpoint on County Road 330
Bucyrus — The Ohio State Highway Patrol conducted an OVI checkpoint on County Road 330 west of U.S. 30 and east of Stetzer Road in Crawford County on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
The OVI checkpoint was funded by federal grant funds was planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
During the checkpoint, 340 vehicles were checked by troopers. As a result of the checkpoint efforts, two OVI arrests were made. A vehicle was also seized and is subject to immobilization due to prior OVI convictions of one of the arrested drivers.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol would like to remind everyone, if you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink. Don’t let another life be lost for the senseless and selfish act of getting behind the wheel impaired.
