BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police officers responded to a vehicle lockout at Walmart that turned into a medical emergency.

At 9:13 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were assisting the motorist in gaining access to their vehicle with the person’s dog was locked inside the vehicle. The motorist then fell ill and EMS personnel responded.

The person was taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment and animal control responded to assist with the dog after it was freed from the vehicle.

8:54 a.m.-Officers warned a Marion Road resident against trespass.

10:40 a.m.-Officers made a funeral escort for Wise Funeral Home.

1:10 p.m.-A parking complaint in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street was investigated.

2:02 p.m.-A Bucyrus man was cited for a red light violation in the 1700 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

2:48 p.m.-A report of someone dumping trash in the 1300 block of Monnett Street was taken. The responsible party was located and contacted to return to the area and clean up.

4:17 p.m.-Officers checked an animal complaint in the area of Prospect and Osman Streets.

5:38 p.m.-A traffic complaint was made in the area of South Sandusky and Southern Avenues. A motorist was reportedly driving with a child on their lap.

6:27 p.m.-A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue. The vehicle was not stolen and was left in the private lot at the Wrens nest.

6:41 p.m.- A report of a dog bite was taken from a complainant at the hospital in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

10:52 p.m.-A parking complaint in the area of Rogers Street and East Oakwood Avenue was investigated.

1:35 a.m.-A disturbance in the 200 block of Blicke Street was investigated. A car alarm had sounded but nothing was found disturbed.

1:56 a.m.-A resident in the 1400 block of Michigan Drive reported seeing someone run through her yard. No one was located when officers checked the area.

2:50 a.m.-A verbal warning was issued for someone trespassing in the 200 block of East Oakwood Avenue.

5:21 a.m.-Officers stood by for a civil property exchange in the 200 block of Wiley Street.

5:38 a.m.-A disturbance in the 200 block of East Oakwood Avenue was investigated. People were not welcome by the person they were visiting.
