Galion police and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office are hoping the public will assist in their investigation of vandalism at the Galion Police Memorial at Amann’s Reservoir.
According to the Galion Police Department’s Facebook page, at some time this weekend the memorial was desecrated with yellow paint. Photos can be seen on the department’s Facebook page.
Perhaps even more poignant is that today is National Police Memorial Day and marks the beginning of Police Week.
Those with any information regarding the act of vandalism are asked to contact either the Galion Police Department at 419-468-3480 or the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office at 410562-7906.
