An Upper Sandusky woman facing drug-related charges in both Crawford and Wyandot counties is hopeful the legal system will get her the help she is seeking. Thirty-four-year-old Sharona Bishop pleaded guilty in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday to one count of felony 5 drug possession.

Bishop admitted she had heroin when arrested last February. Bishop was sentenced by Judge Russell Wiseman to three years of community control and must further go through a drug and alcohol assessment and complete any recommended follow-up treatment. Bishop told the court her case in Wyandot County will require her to go to CROSSWAEH.

Bishop’s driver’s license was suspended for six months, she was fined $1,250 and must forfeit all drug-related property to the Bucyrus Police Department.
