ONTARIO, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Ontario Police Department has completed a thorough search of a local residence following the execution of a search warrant, with assistance from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI). Authorities have reported the discovery of physical evidence during their investigation.

Upon entering the property, investigators found it unoccupied and stripped of furniture and personal belongings. However, forensic teams identified hazardous biohazard conditions throughout the interior of the residence, with multiple walls covered in what appears to be fecal matter.

A notable discovery was made in one of the bedrooms, where investigators found a mount bolted into the floor, equipped with two chains and two sets of handcuffs. BCI technicians have since collected these restraint hardware items, along with other relevant materials, for advanced laboratory analysis.

The forensic analysis will primarily focus on testing for touch DNA, which may help identify individuals who have been present in or confined within the home.

Currently, the investigation remains in its preliminary stages. The Ontario Police Department emphasizes that evidence recovered is being prioritized for forensic testing, and efforts are underway to establish a timeline of events associated with the property.

At this time, no further details can be disclosed, but updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
