It’s that time of year again, and the Buckeyes’ tradition continues. The Ohio State vs. Michigan game will soon be upon us and United Way of Crawford County will be sponsoring a fundraiser around this year’s football game on Saturday, Nov. 28 beginning at 9 a.m.
This year’s event will be hosted at Avita Health System – Galion parking lot. Parking spaces may be purchased, for tailgate sites, in the hospital’s lower parking lot for $50 each. Attendees should bring their own snacks, beverages, and lawn chairs. Electrical hook-ups will be available for your portable TVs or heaters; you may want to bring an outdoor extension cord with you.
Inside a large tent, there will be two big screen TVs for viewing the game and Davey Jones from WQEL will also be on site for the festivities. In addition, we will be holding a live auction and 50/50 drawing. Various items will be available to purchase for a great cause.
When you give to United Way you are helping to fund many different programs, though 23 different agencies. United Way is the best way to help the most people and build a stronger future in Crawford County. Thank you for your generous support.
Please make your reservations by Nov. 13 to insure your space. Reservation payments can be mailed to PO Box 242, Galion, Ohio 44833. Call your United Way at 419-468-4291 for details.
