United Producers Inc. (UPI), which operates livestock marketing facilities throughout the Midwest and is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, is announcing the launch of an equipment Internet auction program.

“This is another way of expanding opportunities for our members to both buy and sell equipment,” said Dennis Bolling, president and CEO, UPI. “As we strive to constantly evolve our products and services to meet the needs of today’s farmers.”

The first auction will take place on Wednesday March 12, 2014 with monthly sales to be held on the second Wednesday of each month.

A photo and description of consignments will be listed on the UPI website (www.uproducers.com) as information is made available. The pre-sale catalog can be viewed or bids submitted by clicking on the “Special Sales & Internet Sales” box on the United Producers website. Bids will be accepted between 8a.m. and 7p.m. Eastern Time the day of the auction.

Those interested in consigning equipment for an Internet auction or being notified via email for upcoming sales can contact their local UPI market or contact the Livestock Marketing Department at the Columbus office at (800) 456-3276.
