BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Unger Park Post-Acute, the facility formerly known as the Heartland building, is focusing on new community partnerships and a rebranding effort.
Amanda Rowlett, the new Business Development Coordinator, is spearheading community outreach. Anchor Park is planning a summer concert series for next year, aiming to bring local bands to an audience of 50- to 80-year-olds. The facility has also sponsored a pool day and the Bucyrus Youth Soccer Association.
“We are just trying to navigate the community and try to rebuild those relationships,” Rowlett said. “You never know where you might see us.”
Additionally, Unger Park is highlighting its respite care services, which offer caregivers a short break, particularly with the holidays approaching.
The facility provides short- and long-term care and accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance.
