Music artist, Uncle Kracker, is heading back to Bucyrus this weekend.

The musician and singer known for his hits such as, “Follow Me,” and “Drift Away,” performed at the Bratwurst Festival’s FC Bank stage a few years ago, but this time, he will be taking the stage at Dillinger’s Entertainment Center and Restaurant on Saturday.

“It’s the first time we have had Uncle Kracker at Dillinger’s,” said owner Shawn Ridgeway on Monday.

Uncle Kracker, whose legal name is Matthew Shafer, was once a turntablist for Kid Rock’s backing group, Twisted Brown Trucker.

“We are always excited to put bands on our stage from local acts to national acts,” Ridgeway said. “Our city is in more need than ever for exciting things to do.”

Other big names that have performed at Dillinger’s in the last few years include Bret Michaels of the famous eighties hair band, Poison, as well as Saving Abel and Bobaflex.

“Being a business owner is tough work all the way around, but there is no place I would rather work so hard than right here in my own hometown,” Ridgeway said. “I’ve managed and owned businesses for 20 plus years, dealing with bills, double taxes, staff, the public and all the other things the go along with it is a huge chore. It takes hard work, patience and dedication that never stops. At the end of the day however, through all the ups, downs and in-betweens, I couldn’t be a happier man.”

The show takes place 7:30 -11:30 p.m., Nov. 25.

Dillinger’s is located at 144 Washington Square in Bucyrus.

Special guests Erica Dawn and Austin Peckham also will perform. Full food and bar menu will be available, and all ages are welcome. The restaurant and bar open at 4 p.m.

General admission tickets (upper floor level) are $29 while VIP tickets (lower floor level) are $49. Tickets are available at Dillinger’s and online at Showclix.com. For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com/Dillingers-Entertainment-Center-Restaurant-180226952117506 or call 419-562-0114.
