United States Senator Mike Lee from the state of Utah will be speaking with Ohio Republican United States Senate Candidate Bernie Moreno at the “Save America Rally” held at Schine’s Art Park at 300 South Sandusky Street in downtown Bucyrus, Ohio on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM. The rally is in support of President Donald J. Trump, Mr. Moreno, Republican candidates and the U.S.A. The Crawford County Republican Central Committee is sponsoring the event.
Senator Lee is the ranking Republican on the U.S. Senate Judiciary subcommittee. He clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito and was an Assistant U.S. Attorney.
Joy Padgett is speaking for President Trump. Also speaking is political commentator Mehek Cooke who has appeared on Fox News, NewsMax, BBC, News Nation
Speaking against Issue 1 and to stop gerrymandering will be State Senator Bill Reineke. From the Ohio House of Representatives there will be speaking Riordan McClain of the 87th House District and Gary Click of the 88th House District.
Two Republican candidates for the Ohio Supreme Court will be speaking at the Art Park. Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Megan Shanahan and current judge of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Daniel Hawkins are running to be elected to the highest state court in Ohio.
Crawford County’s own Mia McDougal who is the Northern Ohio High School Field Representative for Turning Point USA will take the speaking along with Joanee Malan, will be speaking as to why she is voting for President Trump.
A very special part of the rally will be the honoring of Crawford County’s own decorated WWII veteran Wilmer Loy. Country/Christian singer Jeremy Liles will be performing with Kayla Hildebrand singing our National Anthem. The event is free and open to the public. Food trucks will be on site.
In conjunction with the rally, a “Trump Train” will form in Aumiller Park in Bucyrus at 10:00 am and leave the park at 10:30 am and travel to Crestline, Galion and back to Bucyrus by noon for the rally.
