Two women will be spending the beginning of next year in prison.
Thirty-one-year-old Shena Meeks, of Bucyrus, pleaded guilty to felony 5 drug possession in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Tuesday afternoon. Meeks received an eight-month prison sentence, a $1,250 fine, and was ordered to forfeit seized drug property to the Bucyrus Police Department.
Thirty-one-year-old Jennifer McCabe, of Galion, admitted to violating her community control after being convicted for intoxication in Mansfield Municipal Court in November. Though McCabe recorded a .175 blood alcohol level on Dec. 22, that yet-to-be-filed incident was dropped in exchange for McCabe’s admittance. She was sentenced to eight months in prison after being on probation for just two months.

Thirty-four-year-old Holly Dameron of Galion was in court on Tuesday for an initial hearing alleging she had violated terms of her probation. Dameron was convicted in 2015 for felony 4 theft.
The judge entered a denial on her behalf and set bond at $150,000. Grant Garverick was appointed as her legal counsel.

Danielle Clary, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, waived extradition to the Bluegrass State. She was wanted out of Lewis County for failure to appear.
