GALION—A Galion man has died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on Friday at the intersection of Ohio 61 and Ohio 309 on the outskirts of Galion.

Deputies, along with Galion Police officers and the Galion Fire Department, responded to the scene of the crash at 1:31 p.m.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Lisa L. Heiser, 45, of Crestline, was traveling eastbound on Ohio 309 in a Nissan Xterra and began turning northbound onto Ohio 61 when her vehicle struck a 2014 Ford Focus driven by Galion resident Nasya J. Riddle, 18, who was traveling westbound on Ohio 309.  Occupants of both vehicles, including Billy J. Riddle Sr., 57, who was a passenger in Nasya Riddle’s vehicle, were transported to Galion Community Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

Billy J. Riddle later passed away due to his injuries sustained in the crash that remains under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
