BUCYRUS — Zacharia Davis of Bloomville appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday.
Davis, 24, pleaded guilty to violating the terms and conditions of his community control. He was placed on community control in 2014 after he pleaded guilty to one count of burglary, a third-degree felony punishable with up to three years in prison.
In 2018, Davis pleaded guilty to violating the terms and conditions of his community control and was sentenced to three years prison. In November 2018, he was granted judicial release from prison and placed back on community control.
According to probation officer Eric Bohach, Davis has failed to report for office visits and failed to report his residence since January. Upon arrest he was tested for drugs and a positive screen for fentanyl was returned.
Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold sent Davis back to prison for the remainder of his sentence. Leuthold said he would not oppose transitional control if the prison requested it.
In other court action, Crystal Brock, 38, of Mansfield admitted to violating the terms and conditions of her community control.
Brock was sent to prison after she pleaded guilty to drug possession in May 2019. She was granted judicial release in July 2019 and placed on community control.
Brock admitted to failing to provide an address or place of employment to her supervising officer and to having contact with Mansfield Police regarding a break-in.
Leuthold accepted a general admission to the allegations. He imposed her original one-year prison sentence but said he would not oppose transitional control if the prison requested it.
Andrew Callahan, 32, of Galion pleaded guilty to domestic violence, a third-degree felony punishable with up to three years in prison.
Leuthold sentenced Callahan to 60 days in the Crawford County Jail to be followed by five years of community control. Callahan was ordered to have an assessment and follow up treatment including anger management. If Callahan fails to successfully complete community control, he faces three years in prison.
