BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Humane Society Serving Crawford County is seeking forever homes for two of its current residents, Tucker the dog and Titan the cat, both known for their friendly and affectionate dispositions.

Tucker

Tucker is a male Boxer mix estimated to be about 2 years old. He arrived at the shelter on Oct. 8, 2025, as a stray and was never claimed, leaving his history a mystery. Despite his unknown past, Tucker is described as a sweet and friendly boy who is eager to please.

He already knows the command to “sit” and automatically offers his paw for a “shake.” Shelter staff report that Tucker walks well on a leash and keeps his kennel clean.

Titan

Titan is a 6.5-year-old male shorthaired cat. He came to the shelter on Oct. 14, 2025, after his owner could no longer tolerate their dog repeatedly licking Titan’s ears. According to the staff, this history indicates that Titan gets along very well with dogs.

Titan is a highly social cat, described as loving everyone and constantly seeking to be petted and loved on. Because Titan is already neutered, an approved applicant could potentially take him home the same day.

The shelter encourages any interested in adopting Tucker or Titan to call 419-562-9149 with any questions, or to visit the shelter to meet them in person.
