BUCYRUS―Two people are facing charges, including violations of the governor’s stay at home order, after a traffic stop Thursday evening.

At 9:32 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Hopley Avenue. The motorist was violating the stay at home order during the incident and both the motorist and passenger will face charges for felony charges of possession of drugs and violating the stay at home order.

10:04 a.m.-A report of someone leaving glass in a car wash bay on East Warren Street was taken.

10:37 a.m.-An East Mary Street business reported vandalism to equipment that occurred sometime in the past three days.

1:03 p.m.-Officers took a report of a breaking and entering in the 1600 block of Whetstone Street.

2:23 p.m.-Officers spoke with a Rogers Street resident about ash on his car from a neighborhood campfire last night.

2:52 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic situation in the 200 block of East Liberty Street. It was a verbal dispute and one half left prior to officers’ arrival.

3:09 p.m.-Officers assisted with an animal call in the 500 block of Union Avenue. A resident had a snake in their home. It was a local species of snake and not very long in length. The officer captured the snake and released it outdoors.

3:41 p.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of West Warren Street. The residents were having a verbal dispute about real estate.

5:59 p.m.-Officers were requested for a welfare check in the 700 block of Wilbur Street.

6:43 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person regarding a custody issue.

7:39 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 200 block of Galen Street. It was a domestic dispute and one of the parties left the area.

7:59 p.m.-An alarm in the 100 block of Brookside Drive was investigated. It was a false alarm.

10:29 p.m.-Officers investigated an alarm in the 100 block of North Lane Street. It was a false alarm.

12:02 a.m.-A disturbance in the 200 block of West Galen Street was investigated. A person called 911 yelling about being accused of cheating and threatened that a cat would be killed. It was a domestic with a verbal argument and the parties separated for the night.

12:56 a.m.-A resident in the 800 block of East Warren Street reported someone throwing something at their residence.

12:57 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person with a flashlight in the 200 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated.

1:02 a.m.-A resident in the 1200 block of Monnett Street reported being pushed down by an unknown male and robbed of his money while walking in the area. The matter is under investigation.

1:11 a.m.-A disturbance in the 200 block of Wayne Avenue was investigated.

4:46 a.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office by checking on a suspicious vehicle at Family, Farm and Home.  It turned out to be employees coming into work for the day.

6:03 a.m.-A resident in the 500 block of South Poplar Street reported a prowler around her garage.  No one was located in the area.
