GALION—Two people were arrested by Galion Police during a traffic stop Wednesday evening on Ohio 598.

Tara L. Breinich was arrested at 10:38 p.m. for tampering of evidence and possession of drugs while Noah D. Watkins was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments and a warrant.

5:29 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle at Powers Reservoir was investigated and everything was fine.

8:39 a.m.-A report of a reckless driver who did a U-turn, damaging a yard and nearly hitting a child in the 300 block of South Boston Street was investigated.

10:06 a.m.-A welfare check was attempted in the 800 block of Crew Avenue.

11:24 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel with an unresponsive person in the 400 block of Grant Street. The person was taken to Galion Community Hospital then turned over to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office on an active warrant.

1:59 p.m.-A report of a female juvenile attempting to crawl out of the restroom at Heise Park was investigated. The juveniles advised they were waiting on a ride inside the bathroom due to cold weather.

4:26 p.m.-Officers turned over custody of Jessica Sargent at Galion Community Hospital to Richland County authorities who arrested her on a warrant.

5:36 p.m.-A report of four juveniles kicking signs and beating on the restroom windows at Heise Park was investigated.
