Sunday may be the day of rest for many, but not for local law enforcement agencies or officers. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office reported that two people were arrested and jailed on Sunday.
Bucyrus police arrested Brian Beitzel of Mount Vernon early Sunday morning. Beitzel is being charged with possession of drugs. Shortly after midnight Sunday morning Lela Christian of Galion was arrested by Galion police on a charge of domestic violence.
Beitzel is being held until he appears in Municipal Court while Christian will next appear in Common Pleas Court.
Two other people were arrested in Tiro. Pamela Smith and William Scarberry were charged with drunk and disorderly conduct. They were released with a date to appear in Municipal Court.
