A motorcycle rider and the passenger in a vehicle that failed to yield at an intersection in Bucyrus Township were injured and taken to the hospital late Saturday morning.

The Crawford County sheriff’s Office reports a vehicle operated by 41-year-old Andrew Kazee of Sycamore failed to yield at the intersection of River and Marion-Melmore roads. Kazee’s vehicle was then struck by a motorcycle operated by 39-year-old Matthew Henry of Marion.

Both Henry and a passenger in the Kazee’s vehicle, 27-year-old James Ackerman of Bucyrus, were taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital with minor injuries.

Kazee was cited for failure to yield.
